    Understanding health information exchange (HIE) can be challenging, especially in behavioral health.


    That’s why OPA, an HIE-neutral organization, gathered a focus group of members, including Mark Jones, to identify the most important questions psychologists need answered.

    Join Mark Jones, MS, MBA, LPC, LMFT, Senior HIE Consultant at the Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality (OFMQ) and a pioneer who helped build Oklahoma’s first state HIE (SMRTNet) and MyHealth Access Network, for a fact-based, research-driven discussion designed specifically around your questions.

    What you’ll learn:

    • Clinician and client control over data
    • HIE value in safety, diagnosis, treatment, and efficiency
    • Cost and benefit insights for HIE and OKSHINE
    • How to discuss HIE participation with clients
    • Ethical and privacy considerations
